About Us

Orders is an architectural and design practice led by Jordan Hicks. Through careful consideration of space and construction techniques, Orders projects are functional and efficient. Through focus on shape and material, these same projects are playful and surprising - a setting for daily life where people can be curious and relaxed, immersed in the present moment. Jordan is a registered architect in Illinois and a LEED Green Associate. He is also an adjunct professor at Illinois Institute of Technology. Orders is currently working on single family and multi-family residential projects in Chicago, and Jordan has previous experience in commercial, hospitality, institutional and educational projects.
